For the best settings, we recommend setting the country of your residence, for instance, if you are based in the UK, select UK.
Changing country is beneficial if you want to Geo-Unlock content that is not typically available in your country.
Please Note : Your speed will reduce when you are choosing a country that is further away from your location. Those in the US, may see slower speeds when connecting to the UK (and vice versa).
Step 8 – When connected, you will notice your new IP address in the top left of the IPVanish app, and will be presented with a graph that provides insight into the speeds and bandwidth of your VPN connection.
